Installation and permissions
Prepare Business Central, install the extension, and give operators access.
Before you begin

Install the extension
When the listing is available for your environment:
- Search for Extension Management in Business Central.
- Choose Manage > Extension Marketplace.
- Find HA NTMP Connect for Dynamics 365 Business Central by Hamwi Computer Software.
- Follow the installation prompts and confirm the required base dependency is installed.
If the listing is not available, contact HA Consultancy for the installation package.
Assign permissions
- Search for Users and open the user's card.
- Under User Permission Sets, add NTMP_FINANCIAL_HAC (caption NTMP Financial) for the appropriate company.
- Retain the user's normal Business Central permissions for their accounting work.
- Make sure the user responsible for the background job also has the permissions needed to run it.
NTMP_FINANCIAL_HAC is an operational permission set. It permits changes to integration settings, facilities, sync records, job queue entries, and G/L account mappings. It is not a read-only reporting role. See security and access.
Enable outgoing requests
In Extension Management, select the extension and open its configuration. Enable Allow HttpClient Requests so it can contact the HA integration server. If your environment restricts this setting, ask your Business Central administrator to enable it.
Verify installation
Open NTMP Settings and confirm the four configuration keys are present. Installation also attempts to create a recurring synchronization job. Verify the job in Job Queue Entries; if it is missing, use Start Auto-Sync from NTMP Settings.
